May First Maintenance Day Continues: Sunday, September 30

We’re continue our day of maintenance at May First/People Link. Click the more link below to say abreast of how things are going.

During the course of the maintenance we’ll be working on the following machines:

Octavia (running our onsite backup) Viewsic (shared hosting server) Evo Chun (Delaware server) Harry (Members control panel server).

We’ll keep you posted (on this blog) of our progress.

Octavia has been re-booted and now has an “Octopus” installed. The octopus gives us “serial” access to our other servers. This means that if one of our other servers goes down, we can still connect to it via the serial access on octavia. Now we are working on configuring the octopus.

The octopus is now setup! We’re done with Octavia.
